Yes, I did. That was at the end of the game when the team was crying out for our manager to bring on another midfielder after Ranieri had made the change. It was also in a game that Davies was tasked with doing what Doucoure does, because our manager didn't change the system.

Davies is not, and never will be, a box-to-box midfielder. I watched him last season, playing as a 6, and he is fine in that role. Not great, but he does the job. And that's what you need in a flat three when you're missing your best midfielder who happens to be the player that makes the system work.

If it's Townsend dropping into midfield today then he at least gives us legs and an ability to carry the ball.
I don't think he has the game intelligence to sit in front of a defence. Whereas he can at least pick a pass in attack. Hopefully in the next window or two, we won't be having a discussion on him because he will be another team's problem with a better replacement in.

Happy with that team, other than the centre back pairing...

That's two centre halves who are super low on confidence, playing together.

When they both played a few weeks ago they were dreadful.

Would have put Holgate in there but, hopefully they turn a new leaf today.

COYB!
Yeah bring back the Laurel and Hardy duo. Slapstick at his best!

Why are a lot of people moaning about the line up and bench?!?

With the injuries we have who exactly would you put in the team who is fit?

Honestly don't think we have any better players fit and available!

Yes i am not happy our options aren't great but that isn't changing anytime soon.

Holding out the slightest hope that because we are a counter attacking team and Spurs will come to play and not sit two banks of four, we might be able to get a draw. Just don’t lose ffs.
