If Beattie is fit, will he run at Distin or Yobo? Etherington can supply from the left flank, as can Delap, so aerial battle it is with elbows and knees to the jugular going in all over the show.

Lawro's got us to win 2-0, so were gonna lose

Although he did day this in the Chelski-[Poor language removed] report

The team that wins the league will probably lose more games than usual because of the likes of Everton, Aston Villa, Tottenham and Manchester City. They are all going to beat the big teams, and some of them already have done.

A bit of recognition perhaps??

Surely not:P

Cant see that happening this season though.

We only beat the RS in the FA Cup. Never got the 3 points from any of them in the league.

And yes, you go against Lawro's prediction so my draw prediction is still on.

If I believed in fairies ...

.... I'd be hoping that the Injury Fairy would wave her magic wand over Goodison tonight, to instantly cure all the outstanding injuries, so we can field the following outfield players on Sunday:

BACK FOUR
Neill, Jagielka, Yobo, Neville

MIDFIELD
Arteta, Heitinga, Rodwell, Pienaar

FRONT
Anichebe, Saha

That way, we could rest ALL of the guys who started in midweek and, as it happens, put out a side well suited to Stoke, with only two shortarses, and they's out wide in midfield.

On a slightly more serious note, when Moyes first came to Everton, the absolute best starting eleven was barely up to avoiding relegation, whereas now we seem to be able to put out two separate teams that could hold their own in the Premier League. Things are looking up !

Evening chaps,

looks like we're opting for a 4 -4- 2 formation on Sunday with Beattie & Kitson up front with Tuncay & possibly Fuller on the bench if we need to change things.

Not sold out our allocation yet but may sell remaining tickets tomorrow, let's hope for a sell out.

Do you thing your guys will suffer post Europe blues (pardon the pun)

Hopefully not.

With Saha, Rodwell, Heitinga and hopefully Yobo and Pienaar coming back into the side we'll have an injection of fresh legs.

I hope you do go 4-4-2, that'll be better for us.

Can see us struggling here, Pienaar won't be back in my opinion. In fact we're gonna get smashed really.

Let's be honest here tho, we're missing a lot of players, our rhythm has been disrupted. I'd say we're looking at a long 90 minutes.
