Well this morning, Mccarthy was the answer to our midfield! He came in, we're just as bad and the answer is Barkley to the middle? No

i haven't said that anywhere, i'm on record wanting to explore the idea of the one partnership that had us going forward on the pitch, barkley and besic, obviously besic is ill, but having your most naturally gifted player playing waaaay out of position is ridiculous, not sure why anyone would be agaist the idea of seeing him in a position that clearly got the best out of him

I think when you sign a player who has terrorised defences across Europe for years, you play him right up front ( i'm not watching the game but presume RM isn't playing him as an out and out striker ?.
