I'm really disappointed by our preparations for this season - realise we have a lot to make right and it takes time but to have no real excitement as the beginning of the season - no decent new signings I really fear for us tomorrow. 2-1 Everton. Kone A winner

On the basis that Spurs are only 69% match fit and rusty and several of their players are still having nightmares involving Vikings, then I'm going for a gritty 1-0 home win.

I'm travelling up for this game tomorrow, out the house at 7.15am, home for 11.10pm. Plenty of effort, evidence of a workable system on the pitch, taking the defence of set pieces seriously and a restoration of team spirit please.
