The manner of defeat against Spurs was deflating. It's hard to know what to make of Southampton. They seem full of energy and press from the front working hard as a team, but seemingly all season long they have had a run of either good results or bad. Hopefully this evening marks the start of another bad run of form from them.

Well really it's just the midfield, nothing against Gordon like. He just shouldn't be the best part of our midfield given the no of appearances, years of experience and international level play between Davies, Gomes, Iwobi, Sigurdsson and Bernard.
