Well perhaps, but our issue with Coleman is that when he plays as just an out-and-out right-back he's very ineffective. Part of that is not being able to control the ball in midfield, but him playing as a wing-back/right-mid, gets him 10/15 yards further upfield.

Where he still can't pass or cross the ball.
But hey he does gives 100%.
