Amazing to think that nearly 18 years have passed since Richard Dunne made his debut for Everton (FA Cup vs Swindon 3-0 at Goodison 5th January 1997) - some of the legends he played with that day (and how far back their careers go (Watson, Southall etc.)

In fact thinking along those lines you can trace Everton careers back to Dixie in 6 or 7 steps - Sagar, Jones (and others), Labone, Lyons (or Kendall), Southall...
The Honey Monster...it was an amazing stat that 18 years have gone since Dunne made his debut. I watched him come through the ranks (came from Home Farm I think), his size and frame suggested he couldn't run but he was always fleet of foot. Met his folks a Bellfield and you could see where his size came from. 18 years, how time flies.
Yip 3 points move on, new goalie pleaseSeemed like a solid win but having skimmed through the posts...it sounds like it was a poor performance. It just goes to show that you can't judge a match from the scoreline lol Still, a win is a win is a win.
Europa league mate......He was good away v Wolfsberg!

Wolfsberg are a good team - we did well to beat them twice!Europa league mate......![]()

The Honey Monster
Jumps under the ball by 1 metre every time. Scared of getting hit by the CB.Soton away is causing me deep consideration on my accy. They must be due a bounce back after 4 consecutive defeats. Kone needs to start this game.
Has anyone else noticed that Lukaku cannot win a ball in the air?
Dream Team indeed.Barkley and Besic in the centre, The Dream Team.
Why pay 28 million for a counter attack striker in a team that plays possession based footballThat's not his game though... He's not that player. You don't want Lukaku with his back to goal - that's why he's much better with Barkley in the number 10.
Probably a bit risky, but what a great and long partnership it would be if it worked. Not going to happen anytime soon, though, I
don't think.
