The people I feel for today are the fans who took their kids and spent a small bomb watching the match. We will get over it though, this has shown that although our squad is sound were still not as a strong as what we would like to think, we harded tested Crossley in goal.
We might be spending some money, or more likely getting some loan deals.
yes, me too, I got chatting with a woman a few seats along who had brought her three kids for their first match alltogether.
They were SO excited, she could hardly keep hold of them. The kick off delay didnt help much but she was saying that they all want to come to the match but she can only afford to come to games where there's some sort of discount. I'm sure there were others in her situation.
In terms of the match, well, I can't add to what's been said. We lost, we played badly and Oldham deserved their win. I didnt hear what DM said to annoy everyone so can't comment.
My final rant is for the absoloute tosser who sits in Row D, LGS who dd nothing but shout abuse at the players, particularly McFadden and Wessels. His every other sentence was 'Everton, you're [Poor language removed] [Poor language removed]'
He was getting on my tits big style. At the end of the first half he started the booing so I stood up (all 5' 3" of me) and told him to get behind his team and stop booing. I was shaking like a leaf but I'm glad I did it.
I know everyone pays their money and is entitled to an opinion but he's like this every match, we can never do anything right. I'm seriously considering moving seats next season this bloke is such a wally.
I was mighty pissed off last night because we played so badly and looked like a team that had no soul and had lost its way but I never, ever **** the lads off when they're playing - I'm an EVERTON
SUPPORTER on bad days and good days.
