If they dont have the strength in depth, then we have no chance, where would we be now if we had a Lukaku on the bench like they did today

West Brom are playing out of their skin but they'll potentially lose Mulumbu and Odemwingie for the ACON. They have a very settled side, which could be disrupted by injury. Only five defenders have played more than a couple of games for them and only one of them is younger than his late twenties. In midfield Brunt and Dorrans generally step in if Morisson, Yacob or Mulumbu are unavailable. They do have a few more options up front, where Gera, Odemwingie, Fortune and Lukaku compete to partner Long.

Today we had 6 fairly key players out by my reckoning. Clarke has started only 13 players more than half a dozen times so far this season. How would he cope if he lost two right backs, two pivotal midfielders, a winger and a striker?

On the OS: Coleman listed as 'injury unknown'; 'return date: unknown'.

The Moyes' titty-lip strikes again.

Join all the others on the naughty step Seamus.

did nothing factual happen in the game? do you not have an opinion about the score and what perhaps went wrong or just theortical statements about something that maybe might have happened had we no injuries.

I've been moanin about the game since I got home mate. But 'coulda woulda shoulda if's buts maybe's' applies to everything said tonight.

there were plenty of mistakes on show to moan about, hypothetical solutions are pointless. i suppose on that 'ifs but maybe's' then yes most statements will lead back to it.

To be fair, if people weren't allowed to discuss 'if's, buts, maybes and hypothetical solutions' then they may as well close the forum.

he can't defend either how would he have helped, honestly.

we attacked down both wings equally throughout the match and carved out another 25 shots, like we have every game with coleman in. We only conceded once as opposed to the two we normally concede when he plays so i say stick with jags at RB

i really hope coleman had a knock, if he was dropped completely from the match squad then that is typical moyes. started to forgive him for the way we have been playing this season, if he's crawled back into his shell just because of one result despite the best footy we've played in decades, then that is inexcusable
