was hoping we'd smash them, then we played reading and our confidence probably took a hit. 3 points are the main thing.

great write-up as per chico, amazed you didn't use the term 6 fingers and saddened that you didn't say "pedestrianization of norwich city centre" - we can't all be partridge fans i suppose (y) COYB

4-0

You know what the target is this season as it's been on the lips of manager and players: a top four finish. There will not be such a pivotal season in Everton's medium term history for quite some time.
Very true. This season feels like a bit of a crossroads. ("Why'd they kill my dog?; Damn man I miss my Uncle Charles y'all.")

As for Norwich I have never met a single Norwich fan and I'm not convinced they exist. I know there are some celebrities who support Norwich in a very "wow I can't believe they like football -- surely they don't *really* like football do they? -- and why pick Norwich doesn't that prove they don't really like football?" kind of way.

Good preview as always. Hope we don't really have to wait until March for more tactics. A man can't live on Bong alone.

"It wasn't so long ago at Goodison that you’d get the same reaction at him being announced in the team as you would boarding the train to town and the PA system announcing replacement a bus service at Sandhills. Keep it going Osman lid."

Brilliant.

Draw. Don't keep a clean sheet. Play well, miss chances, they score with minimal chances. Everyone scratches their head as to how we haven't won yet again. Rinse and repeat.

Moyes team selection could be the most important of the season so far.

Get it right and it sets us up for a big game the following week.

Get it wrong and all the hard work will have been undone so far this season.

Likely mid-table if we don't win, so much for a fantastic start to the season.

Five weeks of rubbish results have taken their toll, and we can't afford to mess this one up too.

An absolute must win game.

Don't think we should big it up that much. It's as important as any other PL game.
