Jags right back? Take a look at what he did here:

Very suspicious. Coleman picking an injury up after this week when he's come under criticism? Pretty remote. The injury stuff is always trotted out to save face all round.

Moyes has blinked here, as I knew he would when the going got a bit rocky underfoot. It loks like he's taking Coleman out and going for a more solid defensive performance. Let's see how his decision pans out. It'll be interesting to see what happens if our left flank is asked to do what it's been spared from this season and carry the burden for the whole of our attacking game.

Big choice by Moyes this if Coleman doesn't start. It's a signal he's going back into his shell.

Do you find him predictable?

Duffy deserves a starting spot, and I hope Coleman stays in the first team otherwise noone will have any focus for their fumage once Norwich score first.

I hope he is missing because of injury only or we now have another DM scapegoat if you give a pen away you get banished from from the team ask young Ross Barkley - why the hell is JH having to start he was complete crass the last few games slow out of position , fouls complete favourtism from DM if Shamus is fit to play!
I hope Duffy does start as the centre of our defence has been woefull - not the fullbacks who have improved our play!

You might be right and i wouldn't be surprised, we'll just have to wait and see.

Barkley wasn't "injured" when he got took out was he? Duffy wasn't "injured" when replaced by Hibbert last season was he?

Like i said, if he was gonna drop him i think he'd just come out and do it and not give a damn rather than try and cover it up with an "injury". Especially when its for Jags or Heitinga.

Our defence has been quite odd this year. For me Jagielka has been our best defender but I prefer the partnership of Heitinga and Distin, both of which have been off form this season.

Back 4 of

Jagielka Heitinga Distin Baines

Looks strong but I think we'd all agree is not.

Hmmm...

It depends. I guess it would allow Mirallas to go rampaging to the byline because Jags isn't going to do anything in an attacking sense, and it means we'd have two very different attacking options in wide areas...

But overall it does scream out "let's shut up shop away against a top four team" rather than a home game against Norwich.
