Well, considering the youngsters on the pitch (who all showed a lot of promise) that's a pretty promising result, and Koeman has added to his CV with a convincing win against Palace.

.....it was like a weight was lifted off all the players. Great to see them playing with a spring in their step and a smile on their faces. Well done Tom Davies, well done Kieran Dowell who looks a class act to me. Whatever happens there are a few lads who can always say they are Premiership footballers.

Certainly goodbye to Tim Howard, probably goodbye to Leon Osman both fine players and servants to the club. I wish them well and offer thanks for the memories.
