This is nailed on to be Gordon '88 1-0 but in all fairness I think we're playing really well. Story of the season where we just cannot convert our chances but I must admit I love watching this kind of football compared to the dross we've been served up for years. The players are failing the manager now, unlike what we're used to with the manager failing the players.

Got to solve this unbelievable inaccuracy in front of goal. Costing us every single game. Could easily be 3 up that half. We are the better team and proof that possession is often meaningless.

You could call it bad luck or misfortune after couple of games but at this stage it’s just really, really poor finishing and a shocking lack of composure.

so much to like about the performance otherwise.

Oh and again, baffles me how advanced Dyche (and even Lampard before him) play Gana Gueye. I

I think it's a mental thing with Gana. The legs are getting him around the pitch well but when he gets there he just seems to make daft decisions

We are without a doubt a better team with Calvert Lewin in it, but that miss sums him up. You half expect it and he's certainly not as great as some people make out.

He's a very average striker who misses far more chances than he scores, but some people think he's great because he plays in blue. If he played for Brentford or Luton or Bournemouth etc not many would be saying "let's spend tens of millions to sign this lad who averages about 8 goals a season".

I'd stick DCL on the left for a spell. He seems to have the beating of Trippier.

I would stick him on the transfer list, he couldn't hit a cows arse with a frying pan.

Calvert-Lewin with one of the worst sitters i've ever seen missed.

Doucoure's passing has been really poor too. Gueye picking up a really unnecessary booking.

Joelinton an absolute snide with that scratch, don't usually see Tarkowski actually angry

Somehow we've still created a load of chances, but same old story.
