Fortunately for Stones I think he's straight back in (if fit) against Stoke, as Mori was arguably our worst player against Newcastle. I just really, really, really hope that Robles keeps his place as he deserves to. Putting Howard back in would be the ultimate insult, not just to Robles but to the fans, too. Thought Oviedo was exceptional last few weeks, and hope he keeps his place on the left even if Baines is fit. Leighton hasn't been the same for ages now, highlighted by his lack of goals and assists and general mobility.

I'll go with Robles; Coleman, Jagielka, Stones, Oviedo, and the half direct style of play they adopted against Newcastle.

Chelsea 3 Everton 3

Everton appeared to be coasting to a first win in four league outings when Mirallas doubled the lead with a crisp shot after Leighton Baines' cross.

Baines had also been instrumental in the first goal, Terry getting his feet into an awful tangle while attempting to clear his cross.

Skysports Man of the match: Leighton Baines

Oviedo has been better.

Baines doesn't look fit yet.

I'd stick with our Bry, he's earned his shot, just like Robles has.

That's not saying I don't think Leighton is brilliant, but fair is fair.

Stones should stay on the bench for a while. We kept a clean sheet in the league. Mori wasn't at his best but every player has that.
Do you want Howard back in as well?

It's unusual to hit the woodwork three times. And it's also unusual to get two penalties in one game. Plus a red card for the opponents too.

Everton's games haven't returned to the norm yet! What will the Stoke game bring?

Also thought it was funny that Funes Mori almost knocked Seamus in the face while jumping into the pile to celebrate the goal.. not sure if anyone caught that.

Judging by what your saying im guessing Seamus certaintly caught one lol

Using this logic I would say seamus has caught one more than tim howard has all season

I don't think its weird that there's still negativity. One swallow doesn't make a summer. It would be a very knee jerk reaction to suddenly become positive after beating a team in the relegation zone.

However the general mood about the place is definitely less dark today

Half of all league wins under Martinez in the last 38 games have come against sides who were relegated or in the bottom 3 when we played them. Very assured performance but as you say one swallow doesn't make a summer. Do the same against Stoke and for the next 10 games and maybe i'll start believing in him again. Good to see Robles in goal.

Anyone know why the upper Bullens (visitors) tickets were not put on sale? Mostly obstructed views left around the ground, and Newcastle rarely take the full allocation these days.

They never sell it for home fans mate - or haven't in a long time anyway. Only opened up when away fans sell their allocation.

Other seats were still available for Newcastle, but they are now on sale for West Brom;

A limited number of great seats have become available for the upcoming Premier League clash with West Bromwich Albion at Goodison Park.

The visitors have opted not to take up their full allocation of tickets for the fixture on Saturday 13 February (3pm kick-off), meaning extra spots have become available for Blues fans in the Upper Bullens stand.

This is a great opportunity to get your hands on some of the best views up for grabs for the clash with the Baggies.
