After 70 minutes of aimless sideways passing Osman comes on for Besic. Ossie promptly gets caught in possession by Cabella who runs through and beats Howard at his near post.

Sundays the day lads....we are going to shoe these tramps. All our woes will be forgotten for just a few hours and we'll see a cameo of last season at our best. It'll ease the 'R-word' anxiety, but it will just increase the fume tenfold if we return to this seasons malaise when we hit little old London Town to face RPQ the following game.....having scraped through in Kiev with a breakaway away goal from Geads.

Got a result in 89% of our European games.....now that is mightily impressive. As bad a s this season is domestically I'm convinced it's just fine margins. If you consider the unprecedented number of individual errors leading to a goal....14 of them ffs you could well imagine that with a more average cock-up ratio of 5 or 6 we'd be just behind the chasing pack. Those first two throwaways against Leicester and Arsenal shaped our season, and how we've regretted it. The 2 point haul should have been 6 points, winning breeds confidence and this team and it's style is all about confidence. Look at Thursday night....flat start, toxic crowd, early conceding of a goal and the world looked vile.....an upturn in pace, volume from the stands and a return of last seasons swagger and we wiped their backsides.
Our record against the bar codes at Goodison is pretty damn good.....I can just feel that this Sunday-after-Europa-Thursday won't be a hangover.
A win tomorrow, progress through on Thursday and a win at QPR and we can all accept our shortcomings this season and look forward to the delayed re opening of the School of Science after some Summer refurbishment.

All common misconceptions repeated time after time to try and validate a sub human existence in the shittiest part of a really shitty part of the world. There’s absolutely nothing. The support thing too, when was the last time you filled out Goodison’s away end you helium voiced shitpipes?

My favourite thing i've read this morning.

You will be pleased to hear that "Fine margins" has been added to Bobby Hall of Fame soundbites for the 2014-2015 season. I was disappointed in a Walter Smith kind of way to hear him say "Phenomenal Phenomena Phenomenal Rom" as this appeared to be an audacious attempt to create a hybrid soundbite from the 2013-2014 season.

"Fine Margins"
"Parasite teams"
"Leicester"
"Every pass has a reason" - I am hoping that Bill will have this etched into the centre circle of the pitch for 2015-2016.

I predicted before the Kiev game that we would beat kiev 2-1 and beat Newcastle 2-1,so i dont see any reason to change, just perform like we do in euro games and should be no problem-the only problem is we rarely do that, these games always seem to be something like 2-1 2-2,3-1 etc at Goodison lately
