We have to maintain an unbeaten momentum...the draws and wins will sort themselves out if we do that. I can see us going unbeaten in the next three games, for example, and that would see us right in both competitions.

Regardless of league position this Everton squad is streets above Newcastle, they have an injury list as long as my arm, the only player who has been consistent for them is Cisse an he's suspended. You are saying draw as should you have predicted a win an we went onto draw you would worry that that could be perceived as a slight criticsm from yourself on Martinez.
