to be fair to Hibbert I thought he had a good game.

That game will def kick start are season.. Any one watch RS today. They played well :)

Bench Hibbert, Distin and Osman, for Coleman, Heittinga, and Gueye (Anichebe when fit)...maybe even throw Duffy in. That defensive shambles can't happen again.

Awaits:

Local lads argument (not seen in evidence much just after the Chelsea cup final).

Osman hard work argument (usually advanced after consumption of hallucinogenics)

Lack of experience argument (in which case young players would never start)

Heittinga is a plodder argument (see hallucinogenics and NSNO)

Agree on this. Have to say not convinced about JH as CB, a bit on small side. Really think Duffy should be getting some match time say as a sub.

Cheers Superstar on the highlghts.

Every time I see Shane Duffy play he gives a penalty away, he shouldn't be anywhere near the first team.

Thats why one could say he needs game time to sort himself out and be alongside the other players. If we went along with your ideas do you think Duncan would ever have got a game after all he collected red and yellow cards. So in your book a player has to be squeeky clean to play for the first team.

No i think he means the player needs to not be a liability and give away penalties and make mistakes that cost goals.

Sure a player who constantly racks up disciplinary bans isn't much better but to say a player has to be squeeky clean is wrong
