I think it's always going to massively hurt any team when they don't have a single wide player that can take on a man / cross / score even as poorly as one in five, etc. Then add that to having two strikers in the entire squad and a terrible goalkeeper then it's a recipe for finishing bottom half again.

This performance today was completely and utterly unacceptable. Doucouré and Allan no idea what they're supposed to be doing, Sigurdsson invisible, James, Holgate and Coleman all clearly not fit and rushed back in due to use alternatives being even worse than them at 50%.

Sad state of affairs we're in here. You have to ask how we were sent into the season with a squad in this state.
