Awful performance truth be told. Poor in possession and like the home game vs Arsenal, showed them far too much respect. No Diaz, Stones, De Bryune or Haaland and Everton set up like they were a Sunday league side having dominated Tottenham away for large periods at the weekend.

Big fan of Dyche but this is the regulation performance at home versus City and Arsenal.

They clash regularly according to an interview I watched with Tarkowski. No surprise really given Pickford loses his [Poor language removed] about 10 times a game.

Last time we had a bit of attitude and brutality was the Ferguson and Cahill days. Far to many soft arses about now. Ref was the city motm, seems he plays against us most weeks. Shambles.

You have to question some of the subs. Why bring a defender on for someone who was playing just behind the centre forward, just after conceding? Why take off Harrison who seemed the most dangerous in their area. Why not have 2 attackers on to play off each other?

Ref was also inconsistent. Willing to dish out yellows to us for nothing, but really didn't want to for City. Pen was soft but it is the rule, but had branthwaite not been booked prior, he'd throw Silva to the ground, preventing the goal. Another day with another ref, we could have got a point or more, but the inconsistency with reffing is shocking.

Neither should be a penalty. The handball rule is farcical and the punishment needs to be downgraded urgently.

The lack of perspective is infuriating.

Of course by being reasonable about it we are now automatically deluded and not taking our situation seriously.
