Awful performance truth be told. Poor in possession and like the home game vs Arsenal, showed them far too much respect. No Diaz, Stones, De Bryune or Haaland and Everton set up like they were a Sunday league side having dominated Tottenham away for large periods at the weekend.

Big fan of Dyche but this is the regulation performance at home versus City and Arsenal.
Were you watching the same match as the rest of us?

You have to question some of the subs. Why bring a defender on for someone who was playing just behind the centre forward, just after conceding? Why take off Harrison who seemed the most dangerous in their area. Why not have 2 attackers on to play off each other?

Ref was also inconsistent. Willing to dish out yellows to us for nothing, but really didn't want to for City. Pen was soft but it is the rule, but had branthwaite not been booked prior, he'd throw Silva to the ground, preventing the goal. Another day with another ref, we could have got a point or more, but the inconsistency with reffing is shocking.

Some utter ball bags on here, we lost to the best team in the world and had a go at them until the pen, they were always going to step it up from there. Get behind the team ffs.

The lack of perspective is infuriating.

Of course by being reasonable about it we are now automatically deluded and not taking our situation seriously.

Didn't expect a win, but expected the referee to be hounded into that penalty decision, whether it was a pen or not... make's me feel ill witnessing that, like little school kids.
