Kin relax!

I look at the table and I cant. How anyone can I don't know.

Maybe some have fallen for the PL client media spin that "Everton will be ok...great season to get deducted 10 points".

It's tripe and always was tripe.

This is a serious fight to the last day of the season. I've been cautioning for months not to count on Luton being below us this season. If anyone has factored them into the bottom three they're deluded. That's why wins for the likes of Forest and Wolves have been so worrying. Those in the pack above us seem always out of reach.

So, in short, the pollyanna stuff about "relaxing" is not warranted at all.

We need points thrown back to us and some luck to get us safe. Look at the table: 4 wins on the bounce and now we're 1 point off being relegated.

While some of that might be true, it doesnt make a game against City in December a must win.

There's a difference between being fairly cautious about our chances and saying we "must win" against the best team in the world. Especially when there's an entire half of a season still to play.

I think it does. If we beat City we stop that lot below us getting any momentum and ideas above their station.

I'd say this is crucial. I don't fancy us and I think City will be right up for getting the defence of their title back on track...but we are at home and we do have the players that can cause any team problems. A massive atmosphere at Goodison and we could just beat them.

Ordinarily...and as you know...Ild be rooting for City in order to hand 3 points over to them to stop Liverpool getting any ideas of a title. But we are in a terrible position and so that can't be defended as a tactic this season.

we fight tomorrow and we will keep fighting

the bottom 3 will have tough games like we have/had

there’s 20 games left we should be ok we should get some points back

and luton won’t keep winning till may

I think Luton have two off to AFCON and of course they'll be without their captain.

I cant see them spending in January either.

Hopefully that breaks their momentum.

Would love a win, but I have just 1 question Dave.

a)If we fail to beat City, is our relegation confirmed?
b)We have another 19 games to try and gain some points?

A or b Dave?

B) of course.

But let's not kid ourselves that we won't find ourselves in the bottom three again...and if I were a player I'd be more than despondent if our good reaction to the points deduction had been for nought and I'd feel the injustice even more keenly.
