Yep. Season fell apart at the wrong time. It wouldn't be so bad, but with the RS being the darlings of the land it's just unbearable.

people said it fell apart in january though and we bounced back brilliantly. don't buy into people saying the 7 wins in a row was all for nothing (because i bet a few will if we finish 5th).

a lot would have said 5th was well out of the question start of the season, if we fail to finish 4th, 5th is still a very good achievement with plenty of areas for improvement as well.

The worse thing is sky are more happy with arsenal getting top 4 than someone else gate crashing, they don't like the thought of one of their teams missing out

Agreed. At the start of the season, I don't think anyone would have envisioned United being as crap as they have been, nor the Crimson Turds doing what they are. If anything, most would have picked the usual top four, with us, the Turds and Spurs battling it out for fifth through seventh. It's worked out to be almost that, the difference being we have European football firmly in our grasp for next season, which IMO can only benefit the club, especially if we start doing it on an every-year basis.

they've seemed perfectly happy with liverpool gatecrashing it.

i think the next few years we'll be getting different top 4's, which will be great for the league ('koff scudamore) that there won't be a recognised top 4. the top 7 will all be within a shout you'd think, if united get rid of moyes and spurs get a good manager in for once.
