Predictable BUT we had a good half, happy enough with that compared to the last few games.
To be honest playing at 4/10 after some games at 2/10 isn't worth congratulating them for. We still have absolutely nothing up top, and we were always going to concede.

17 let in from set pieces, a Sunday league team would punt the manager if they were that bad at defending set plays.. A corner or free is as good as a penalty these days. Why won't that stubborn git of a Manager change how we defend set pieces?

We have not looked comfortable in one game this season playing zonal marking. Whatever he us doing in training to work on it it's not sinking in. He has to just go man to man for the rest of the season and limit the damage.

I heard Andy Hunter on a podcast the other say being absolutely scathing about Silva, he's not wrong when it comes to the defensive setup.

Are our players honestly thick?

What do we love to do give away pointless free kicks, what else do we love to do concede from set pieces.

Last minute of the half where we've done a half decent shot another player joins the clown club of completely uneeded desperation tackles and puts us in a position we've shown time and time again we can't defend for our lives.

I give up
They are thick! At least a few of same. Look in the face of Keane, Pickford Zouma, Kenny....

I wish Everton would come back. I'm sick of this zombie Everton that we've had to endure for what, 5 years? I actually want us to get beat tonight, and that's just sad.

Can Zouma or Mina or even Keane not turn round to whoever “trains” us on set pieces and say something along the lines of “shut up knobhead we never conceded like this at our last teams” and then proceed to show everyone how to actually defend one?
