They were right to - that 4-3-3 before the subs (well, Sigurdsson) came on was working. He should stick with it and practice defending.

It's how he wants to play, but having Gomes and Gana as your 2 DMs is just awkward. Gomes is just a step slow and fouls too often. Good player, but not in that role I don't think.

Can we hire Moyes as a consultant and get him to drill them on defensive plays for a bit? Then Marco can have them for the passing stuff.

Not a bad shout, I doubt he'd take the job though. We should of got him last season instead of Big Sam.

This was the only game of the season I was not gutted to see Everton lose.
