I'm going to put forward absolutely no real prediction or indeed analysis, just sit on the fence and quietly put a tenner on a draw.

I'm basically Jamie Redknapp except I hardly ever mention I'm Frank Lampard's cousin or get to finger Louise.

My concern is that City are bottle merchants not used to winning major championships, and have never won anything from a commanding position in their history - last minute championship win for example.

Whereas Everton have nothing to lose now and could play with freedom.

Urgh... please grow a backbone City FFS

I agree that the top team after 38 games deserves to win the league, but that in no way changes the adverse impact that a Liverpool title win would have on Everton as a club and their supporters. Hence, I want to avoid a situation in which Liverpool finish top after 38 games, which is why I am more than fine with Everton losing by a high margin against City.

It all boils down to sportsmanship versus gamesmanship. Sportsmanship can do one as far as I am concerned.

The gig isn't right anyway. Where was Liverpool's points deduction following their administration the other year? Absolutely bloody nowhere, that's where! And it was administration! The owners of the club had their ownership taken away from them due to defaulting with creditors, and then the creditors agreed to sell the ownership of the club to a different entity of their own choice, without the permission of the owners. That, is administration!

Then you have MULTIPLE instances of the RS 'gamesmanship' (cheating) over the years. Even in that CL win in 2005, the third goal was a penalty resulting from a blatant dive from Gerrard, and Dudek was a good 3 yards infront of the goal line during each of the penalties he was involved in after extra time.

Sportsmanship my arse! Special Dispensation FC wouldn't know the meaning of sportsmanship!

Haha Special Dispensation FC is right, Attention Deficit Disorder FC is another gooden or ADHD FC

We won't throw it and the lads will be sent out fully primed but the intensity, the final 1%, that makes the last "rep" on the weights do-able one day but not another won't be there.

All about City's mindset really but if the choking tarts can't make their cash pay off now they deserve all the stick going.

It's one of those rare times the Goodison faithful can be Corinthian - "well played City, yes we lost 0-1 but we tried our best".

Smirking "'sniff that kopites" on the way to the chippy is but a consolation, fnarr.

If Martinez or any of the players let it be known they didn't want 6 points then they shouldn't be employed a minute longer by the club. Happily that's not the case.

It's not just Martinez who has reason to be upset by the views of certain fans. This is one of the most shameful weeks in our proud history. It's a total embarrassment and grist to the mill not just of reds fans but anyone who regards Everton as a small minded parochial club.

You're clearly over-reacting

if we can motivate ourselves to spank and take the absolute p*ss out of arsenal in a must win game to keep our champions league hopes, then i'm sure we'll be just fine. also didn't bottle it at OT when in reality we were favourites.

What about The Saints and Palace
