Like I say I pay good money to go if you u don't like my opinion block me

Everyone pays good money to go. What I don't pay to do is listen to people like you sit next to me and bemoan everything the manager does without making a constructive criticism at all. If you wanna tell me, in detail, what Martinez consistently done to deserve being called a joke then you can warrant calling him so. If not, then pipe down honey.

Bit of a damp squid all be told but Man City are excellent. Think McCarthy needs passing practise as he is awful. Howard should not be beaten on his near post ever. It was a comfortable win for City and it showed that as good as Galloway and Browning are becoming they are still very green. Still too stand offish for my liking allowing City to play around and boss the game yet when we got the ball they were on us in a flash. That is the biggest thing missing from our game. Thought Kone did quite well at shielding and passing but he is no real threat to anyone. Mistake bringing Naismith on as he offers nothing IMO. Better team won and no arguments.

we made them look good mate, when a team like City press more than we did then something is definitely wrong somewhere.

The second half was just suicidal football in terms of defending, how can we allow them, time after time, to hold onto the ball for such a long time in our penalty box without putting in an attempt to win the ball back is simply amateur.
If you go at them in the box they will come out on top 9 time out of 10, whether through beating the man or winning a penalty

Nah. City are good mate. We probably didn't help ourselves a fair bit but we got beat by a much better team.

City were great today.
The 2 big mistake martinez made was not gettin a proper left back in for bainsey he has had 3 weeks and oviedo has been injured for 2.
Howard made some good saves today but should have stopped both goals.
To be fair though they owned us today

Honestly David Silva has just put on a play making master class. He's about 5 steps ahead of everybody on the pitch which is why whenever we surrounded him he somehow would just thread a pass right through us.

As good as Barkley has been so far I think Silva has just shown him it's not about physicality or even beating you man it's all about how you see the game. We aren't going to be able to afford a player on Silva's level but we desperately need somebody who can operate in a similar way.
Barry to left, back, Besic to mark Silva out the game.

I am surprised to be honest that we lost this, I did think we could hold to a draw at least. It would seem that the tactics and subbing employed by RM played in to City's hands. Wonder what excuse RM will come up with this time. I will see on MOTD.

You gave to ask what was the point of playing two defensive midfiekders when City were attacking our back line at will.

we gave them too much time, we could have played with 5 defensive midfielder and they will still have the luxury of time because we simply didn't close down. We only start to commit to win the ball back when there is danger to the goal.

Two things:

1 - Wonder if damp conditions altered Martinez's decision to keep Mirallas and Deulofeu on the bench (at least until the 86th minute).
2 - Not sure Barry is up for more than 60 minutes against a dominant side. He was badly winded in the final half hour.

Anyone who digs into the manager after games against City, Chelsea, United... needs to take a step back and wait for a plausible reason to criticise
I expect to have a go though and not just sit back and admire their football like we did today.

Every single one of their attacks saw us running backwards towards our goal, inviting them to do what they want with the ball.

Let this sink in. We are the home team and we just stood there and let them walk, literally walk around with the ball. Passing and move is easy when you stand and watch defending.

So no I don't agree with you. I don't give a crap who we are playing, at the very least HAVE a go at them.
