Apart from Barry, I'm willing to wager that anybody on here would have started a very similar team today.

Holgate and Davies both starting, against one of the best sides in Europe. Lookman on the bench. Coleman and Baines as wing-backs.

Not sure about starting Barry. But MS and McCarthy obviously deemed not match fit enough, and putting Barkley in the engine room a bad idea, as he won't provide any cover.

On the plus side, the Criticism that Koeman doesn't play kids can be put to bed, with him starting Holgate and Davies, and lookman on the bench.
