I was a bit concerned with so many youth players starting today but they just improve our energy levels so much ! I'm still buzzing but so many plus points today !

• Davies haven't heard to much hype about him but what a performance from the 19 year old. I'm in shock TBH.
• Holgate also really looking the part so early on in his career.
• Great performance from Lukaku as well. Sometimes we need to celebrate him more than we do. He is our main man.
• Mirallas starting to look like his old self.
• John Stones having to watch us rip his team apart
• Lookman unbelievable story for him. But even the fact Koeman brought him on shows he must be showing quality in training already.
  
• Everyone in the team was great today. Lets just hope they can take it into the next match.

Mertens is 30 in less than four months and is having a career-best season in a CL team. He would cost an absolute ton and strikes me as a "final piece of the jigsaw" type of signing. As good as he is, I think we could spend the money better elsewhere if it were as big a fee as I suspect it would be.

Maybe we should be looking at good strikers at smaller clubs who might fancy the step up... like Kane, or Aguero?
