It has been better and worse I guess. We could easily be out of it because of how much space we're giving them and it also feels like we're legitimately in the game.

With DCL though we don't (or didn't anyway) play this 4-2-3-1 crap, its a 4-3-3 with the front three moving about and supporting each other.

We tend not to get overrun with that formation because the opposing defence can't send the free CB more into midfield(which is where the extra man comes from that usually lets them pass through us so easily) and we don't have Digne and Coleman bombing on so much (which creates the huge gaps at the back). This is why Simms or Dobbin should always have been ahead of Rondon, as they could do what DCL does.
