The one good thing I can say about Derby days these days is that you won’t see many Kopites in full badge, scarf, hat, souvenir bag & ill fitting replica top, ‘mingling’ before the game. You may say, that’s a bad thing, but it’s volatile these days & in my opinion for the best. The ones with tickets stick to their usual haunts before the game and take up their allocation coming from the other direction, we do the same over there. The Derby isn’t what we once was.

We used to compete & were accused of it being our cup final. We rarely compete & it’s been years since we contested any final, so can’t really compare that. As for the result....like many others, heart says one thing, head says the other. COYB!
