Any news on Allan, Richy and Coleman

Anyone ever noticed how many derbies Coleman has missed over the years btw? I swear he's missed like 80% of them since he become a regular

All great teams can dish it out when the going gets tough. They will be in our faces from the start to knock us out if our stride.
I take this as our biggest test yet not just on the football side but as a test of character of our team. If they come to.rough us up early in we need to face up to them and dish it out as well. We know that the ref won't do much to.them. look at Mane against Arsenal. 3 minutes gone he puts his hand into one of their players faces and just gets a booking
Time for the cowards of last year to show some bottle with the new players .
Challenge every decision the ref makes,. A bad challenge by Robertson or Arnold every player should face them down.
This is the new Everton. We can play and can mix it with you. But we don't get pushed around anymore (hopefully)

Every time I worry about this game, I keep reminding myself that we are playing a side who just conceded SEVEN goals in their previous game. If we had been beat 7-2 by Villa can you imagine how we would feel about this game.

There is something clearly not right there with them defensively, they conceded 3 at home to Leeds too, but to concede 7 goals in one game when not one player is sent off would worry me big time if I was them. I know Villa had luck because of the three deflections but Villa were getting in behind them at will, Barkley missed two sitters, Watkins missed a one on one, and he also hit the bar - it was a game where it has made every single team in the division sit up and take notice that all of a sudden they aren’t this invincible juggernaut they seemed last season, in fact you can get in behind them very, very often.

We can win this.

Nothing wrong with a little faith. I know we can do this.

I am so excited for this damn game

They'll be smarting and will even more than usual try and win it in first 15 minutes as a result.

So long as we stay tight, and ideally hit them with a counterpunch in that opening period I think we will settle down and control the game with our superior quality in the middle of the pitch.

Too often we let their front 3 have the freedom of the pitch and they smash 3, 4 or even 5 without actually doing anything except running harder and faster than us. You would hope that is not an option with the new players and confidence.

I’m sure if Robertson does manage to get anywhere near James , James can just decide to up his game and actually break into a jog :)
I have every faith in JRs footballing ability that he can outwit Neanderthals like Robertson or Alexander- arnold. But even the best players on the planet can at times be caught. George Best had lumps kicked out of him by players that were not even in the same time zone. The yard dog players can connect every now and again.....

But here's hoping that James Rodriquez is not targeted. Here's hoping that the rs do not stoop that low. Let's hope that the referee is fair. And lets hope that it's a fair game. And that we turn up.......It's all about us turning up (we often don't for this fixture).

So do I believe that football is fair and that referees do not make baised decisions..........well no.
Some refereeing decisions are incredible. Like something out of the twilight zone.........unbelievable. And those incredible decisions are never explained properly. We could all write a book about refereeing decisions that defy logic.
Let's hope that Saturday is not one of those days.
So.let's rock and roll. Let's beat this rs outfit . It's about time that we did.
If this team with this start to the season and them getting thumped last time out cannot get at them. Then I give up.......
Up The Toffees..........Don Carlos rs thumping Toffees........

I dont care how we win, whether its a scruffy own goal or a total masterclass. I really feel this game will define our season, a win and theres no stopping us, a draw and we can continue to challenge teams, a loss and some of the more mentally fragile players may revert to type.

Hopefully the "mentally fragile" players are now being weeded out of the club.
Schniederlin and Walcott are gone. Siggurdsson hopefully drops his nonsense and proves that he is up for the battle. Keane and Mina are playing ok. Tom Davies at long last is surrounded by decent ( top class) footballers. Hopefully he can improve and prove his worth. This Everton team looks good. Looks different. Not too many mentality fragile characters now............except Pickford.
But he would be a concern no matter who we play.
It won't ruin our season If we get beat............but we won 't get beat.
Up The Toffees........
