Well there is space there, Lucas is out (he's been their best player for a month now) and this match is ripe for the taking. But there is no CF out there and Naismith is probably seeing double right now. Barkley would have loads of room to work with in the attacking end. So yes there are things to complain about.

"Probably" being a very key word - neither you nor me know if that's not a statement you're making up based on an assumption that he looked like he might've had some form of head injury because he fell awkwardly. Barkley, as much as I like him, 90% of the time lacks the final ball we all want/wish he had, so he could come on and not touch the ball for the remainder of the game, or just give it away/make the wrong pass when it matters.

Last time we went "Oh let's just attack and not bother about defending" we lost 0:4. Remember that? Cuz I do, wasn't great.
