They did scrape past Bolton as somebody above has said.

They didn't look too impressive, decent on the counter but not great overall.

The crowd will play a massive part and need to lift the players and create that atmosphere of hatred.

Hold it together lads ffs.
Its getting like Victoria Sponge day at the old folks home in here

Its hard not to be, History is on there side

When we are playing well and on form we don't beat them, We have been shocking for 90% of the season and they seem to be finding a run of form and have there main striker coming back

Yearh we haven't won in 5 years against these!I don't think we can cope with there tempo,And throw in Gerrard/sky day/ Martinez record against Rodgers and a fully fit Sturridge

We're doomed for a drubbing of all drubbings.

I think the way the fans have treated Gerrard is an absolute disgrace. Singing that stupid nasty little song belittles us all. He's a terrific player, and a good sportsman, as evidenced by the way he congratulated Jags seconds after that equaliser. I wouldn't mind if he was a Tommy Smith or a Souness who had ended careers, if we had a local lad playing in our team that was treated by the redshite the way we've treated him imagine the outrage on here

They got beat there aswell.

They played well over the two legs, There's know getting away from that lad

Saying your not worried after watching them against Bolton is a bit rich after the utter dross we have served up in recent weeks, Lets not forget how poorly we played against WBA at home only 2 games ago
