Will the Leìcester fans be flogging their tickets at cost price as we look to cement the 7th place trophy?

Or complain the most. The options are:
At 12.30
Friday night
Sunday
Monday
Deciding factors will be:
The most silly/inconvenient
Messes us about the most
The rs can some how maximise the most benefit from it.
Yeah I remember playing Portsmouth ( I think Alan Ball was their manager) on Grand National Day in 1988.Well we used to play on the Friday night.. so maybe that's what they'll do - always better than the old 11 am start which accommodated fans getting to the racecourse before the (2pm) start.
It will be defo moved to sunday, and wouldnt surprise me if a sunday tv game
infact what was the last game for us or Liverpool to be played at home on grand national day if ever one

To be honest, I hadn't realised neither us nor the RS playing at home on National day was an actual thang.
It must be a new edict, probably at Plod's insistence.
We have often played home games on National day.....usually a 12.30 kick off.
In fact, I seem to recall a derby being played on National day not so long ago.
Can anyone confirm this?
If so, I will include it as a question next time I am making a quiz.
"When were the National and the Derby on the same day"....boom, boom![]()
I've got a feeling you are partially right.
Wasn't the FA cup derby semifinal ( the Andy Carroll one) at Wembley on Grand National day?

...the National is much later these days, probably a 5pm start. I've already had a few quid on one.

What did you back, Eggs, if you don't mind me asking, might have a shilling each way on it myself.
...I wouldn't Dave, the perils of ante-post racing is that they tend not to even turn up so don't waste your money. It's a bit of fun for me, I've backed loads for Cheltenham but quite a few aren't running. I'll do 2 or 3 for the National, the one I backed a month or so ago @ 25-1 is called Don Poli.
i was impressed with sizing john against him yesterday and backed him for the gold cup, my only bet for cheltenham so far, like to wait for nrnb.
