Well that was delightful. I expect we will still have some downs, but even just a performances like that once every 3 matches will see us easily through the season. The reality is out of the last16, we need to just improve as a squad and win 4-5 matches to be safe. If we manage to pull a win out against Southampton next week the confidence will go sky high and a good bit of the anxiety of recent months will fade.

I have never seen him have a game like that since he signed... absolutely brilliant. Still had his usual brain farts with the ball, but the effort and drive like that in every game would mean we all loved him regardless of some daftness.

Tough on VBB, Richy, Gordon, Coleman and others too .... but well play Alex, well played
