It's been a pretty poor season. Europa league obviously is affecting us as it's affected countless teams before us. Few players have definetely reached the end of the line...distin being the standout one, howard possibly another. Costly injuries to stones and mirallas hasn't helped.

I don't think the squad is a bad squad but the balance isn't great. Injuries withstanding i reckon we are definetely short an out and out winger...for the life of me i don.'t understand the atsu deal (unless it was sneaked in as part of the lukaku transfer) martinez obviously doesn't trust him to make him an impact...and from the few bits i have seen it's clear to see he isn't ready...oh to have deulofeu back as an option.

We lack the same energy and snap we did last year...maybe down to europa league and also teams knowing how to play us. Why everytime that liverpool have a shocker of a season do we have to go one worse as well...pisses me right off.

Also why eto'o wasn't brought on today? God knows.

With regards to booing. Personally, it is not something I buy into but that's a personal trait. I will scream and shout to show frustration though.

However, like many other season ticket holders I've paid for the right to watch, and if need be, criticise my team.

You very rarely hear booing at Goodison in such vocal numbers, so maybe it is simply a sign to the players and staff how poor we currently are.

Week in week out then it's a nay, but today I give it a yay.

Evertonians can take poor results. What we can't take is not arsed performances, whether from manager or playing staff.

And we have looked not arsed at times this season due to how we set up to play.

Reeks of arrogance too - "ohh let the opposition huff and puff, we'll dazzle them with our patient build up play and score eventually!"

I repeat. Booing your team no matter what is the fckin lowest. Thats my opinion n if u dont agree tough [Poor language removed].
Not playing well. Get behind the team .

People pay good money to go watch a game and if players are putting in half ar"ed displays they deserve to get it both barrels. If i turned up to work and went through the motions you can be sure my boss and work colleagues would give me a roasting.

The minimum is 100 percent effort and looking like you actually give a sh"t, if not then you deserve everything you get, and if you do not agree tough sh"t to you too, or maybe i'll just boo your post..... BOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Essentially season over in early November. Not even joking. We'll finish mid-table and with this sort of mental fragility we'll fold once we play someone half decent in Europe.

Just a pointless campaign to enjoy until the season mercifully ends.
Not necessarily. They European teams play a completely different style. It may suit us however we'll obviously need to start playing better than we are.

Naismith never gives a NEA or half arsed performance.

Reckon this is one of the issues. Barkley doesn't chase like Naisy.

The manager needs a plan B we pass the ball sideways too much the opposition presses us and get a result it has been happening in a lot of games

we have a serious problem in the midfield -
no creativity , little control and we give possession away -
Martinez took the wrong players off -
we lacked urgency and coherence -
we looked like a bunch of tired dads outrun by the teenagers at the end of the game

This will cheer Bobby up

4-2-3-1, week in week out, home and away, no matter what, we have become so predictable it is easy for oppo managers to prepare, press our centre-backs when they can and drop everyone behind the ball when we have it and then we are done for.
