Ref blew his whistle, so VAR can’t intervene on anything that happens afterward.

Ref should’ve have blew, the way they don’t for offside goals until they see how it plays out.

Nothing the VAR official can do - Atwell has shown his incompetency by blowing for a foul with a player having an open net.

If the Ref blows the whistle before the goal then VAR can't do anything about it

Stupid rule that. So if the ref whistles there can not be a clear and obvious error.

Would be intrested to see if the top teams ever get a blown whistle in the box
