Siggy and Rooney definitely cannot play together.
Both lacks pace and the ability to just bring the ball forward with that explosive pace, only Walcott and Davies seem capable of doing that in this team.

this team needs a proper left winger, central defender and a left back for next season.

not to mention we need to play Siggy behind the lone striker, use Rooney as his alternative.

I think its possible if we had a left back gylfi could work with, rooney needs to stop taking 5 minutes on the ball to steady himself before passing

No it was a so so. Not too bad but not brilliant. Glaringly obvious we don't have a striker. I am not going to slate Everton off just for the sake of it because we haven't scored. We have been the better team but our obvious lack of a competent striker is telling. They're not playing together beyond being on the same pitch. Rooney is in a completely different role.

what i meant was both players cannot be on the pitch at the same time.
Both are very similar players and their weaknesses are similar too.
The overall pace of the team is worrying me when i see them together.

Any attacking threat we have is only because palace can’t clear their lines. We pass it into the forwards, they lose it, then palace give it straight back.
We need someone to hold onto the ball in the final third.
