It was a tongue in cheek comment to be fair, the amount of frothing the media and fans have had for them over the past 2 weeks has been sickening.

It's fair to say that the top 4 could be completely different to the norm this season, so we have as good a chance as Liverpool & Spurs to break into it.

Seems to have duped people into thinking he's a class pundit. You can see him trying his best every week not to let out the arrogant paranoid biased kopite beaut within. The odd time Neville challenged him it would rear it's hysterical ugly head right on cue. Personally I still can't stand his smirking patronising demeanour and think he's a woeful pundit usually pointing out the obvious but with a Liverpool slant on it. Completely different to Neville who was uber critical of United in a similar way Scholes is. Maybe that's the school of thought that propelled United to numerous titles rather than Liverpool claiming they've won the World Cup after every routine home win.
