Pace of the game appears to bypassing Barry, and we need to attack, not defend. So if ye want McCarthy on, then Barry is the one to make way.

If Palace stick 10 behind the ball, then Deulofeu, McGeady and Mirallas have to get the ball at their feet and dribble at players on the edge of the box - draw some fouls.

Not a lot of choice as uefa don't let domestic games play in CL weeks, and the last 2 and next 2 weeks are CL I think

to those getting at mcgeady , the way palace are playing theres no space behind.
lukaku and mirallas are getting the ball deep with there backs to palace, palace are so tight they are just sticking a leg in and winning the ball.
mcgeady on the other hand is doing the only thing that gonna get past palace or get us shots at goal , running straight at them and trying to beat them.
