I still think its the players....not the system.

Mirallas letting us down big time with most touches. Deulo not as bad but clearly young and very green(greedy). Osman having a decent game without being dangerous.
Lukaku is there to be fed but we havent got the quality.

not for this game no, that's the job mccarthy could easily do, and then have another attacker ahead of him to feed. he's not had any tackling to do, so unneeded imo.

not saying he's played bad at all or anything.

also the lad needs to be rested whenever he can, for the run-in

Anyone noticed how the referee looks like Tommie G?

Can't believe this is 0-0.

Some better decision making (not helped with their keeper seeming to want to put in wonderful performances against us) and this would be over.

I actually think unlike some that we have done quite well that half, and are pretty unlucky not to be ahead, keeper has made some pretty good saves

But I am talking about this game. Our centre mids are actually pushing the attacking play more than anybody in this game. Good positive passes in to the forwards in dangerous areas, spreading the play to create more space.

Another attacker will not change the fact that the good build up play by some players is being wasted by others.

For me its a case of Kev/Deulo/Ossie not being quite dangerous enough but in fairness the goalkeepers had to make three great saves. So if its still a draw the best option is to try McGeady or Ross or both to try make more of what the CMs behind and the fullbacks are creating.

No other way of saying it but this is sthi (mods control bad words ) get that lump lukaku off for Naismith, and McGeedy for Delaflu Top six team my arse.
