Or put both in and take Tarky out with Branthwaite.
I’d start the same 11 as started against West Ham with the possible exception to Beto in for DCL and perhaps Danjuma for McNeil, maybe Dobbin in for Harrison, maybe Chermiti for Doucoure. I’d definitely keep the same backline and midfield, at least until we had a goal or 2 lead.

Not me I want to safeguard our PL status stuff the league cup.

I agree. Keep the spine the same at back and midfield with maybe mcneil and DCL rested. Massive chance in the cup this year

We'll need to see a Plan B for our team this season if Plan A was the West Ham model. I am hoping to see more of Dobbin and Danjuma pushing from front behind Beto, a two-person midfield, and two solid wide players (Wingbacks/Wide Midfielders) and consistent defense line.

….surely it’s not a case of either/or. Indeed, there’s an argument that a good cup run gets a team used to winning games and breeds confidence.
Exactly this. I don't want us to halt the momentum of a decent run by making loads of changes and suffering a demoralising defeat. I would make some changes, I'd give DCL, McNeil and Harrison a break, the two wingers in particular have looked gassed in the second half of recent games, but I wouldn't make seven or eight changes.

Give Doucs a rest too - he looks knackered the whole game :D - but effective ....

Looking forward to this, night game at Goodison

I'd go fairly strong with run outs for some of the decent squad players

Pickford
Patterson - Godfrey - Branthwaite - Myko
Harrison - Onana - Garner - McNeil
Danjuma
Beto
