I thought Burnley played into our hands here, we've been ropey defending set pieces all season and they kept opting for quick free kicks, made it easy for us to reapply pressure. Hopefully more of the same for the league match.

Gone with Mykolenko for MOM, purely because he's upped his game more than I thought possible and played like a no nonsense full back once more. May not have the ability of Digne in the final 3rd but jeez he does not get shoved off the ball and basically bullied like the latter did near his own box.

Genuinely couldn't decide who to pick as MOTM. Ended up choosing Garner, for being solid tonight and for being solid over the last few games. Pleased for Onana to score, we need more goals from our midfield pair.

never stopped, just kept winning balls and kept the team well balanced defensively. Burnley didn't stand a chance.

Was worried initially after we scored when little celebration and polite clapping from the fans.
I saw a throw back to 1985 when we where expected to win every game we played.
Relieved it panned out for us but I hate the fact when the celebration is subdued and the fans replicate. I have seen us bitten in the arse too many times to over the years to ever be complacent in any match. 1985 yeah, 2023 defo no
