We will lose a game again at some point, probably in an embarrassing fashion. But really hope it’s not today.

5 wins in 7 versus 1 win in 7 (Ajax).

The impact of recent form on players/teams ability to perform is the best and most fascinating thing about football. Momentum is everything and for the first time yonks we have it. Only the elite teams don’t bugger it up and throw in a stinker though. 🤞

They are still very very capable. Expect Dyche to have turned up the “kick lumps out of them early” dial, mainly to guard against a sloppy, passive Luton performance. Feels like inside Goodison everyone is begrudgingly close to liking the manager and players. Needs to really build on that.

Clean sheet with 30% possession and a set piece goal.

No doubt it’ll be a hard game today, they do what Burnley tried but 1000 times better.

We’re in form and there’s a good feeling amongst the club and fans for the first time in a while. That, coupled with it being a home game should see us pick up at least a point…….

………If Young doesn’t start!

It’ll either be 4-1 to them or 4-1 to us. They seem to either get steamrollered by other sides or do the steamrollering.

Inclined to agree. Think we'll either be under the cosh but pick them off like last time, or if they're really on it, we'll be overwhelmed with their pace and movement.

Us getting the first would rock them though.

Would be great to get the 3 wins on the trot but it will be a tough game I feel. At least I don't feel anxious going into this match and have a slight air of confidence. Fingers crossed
