It's probably a good sign that standards have risen so that I'm really annoyed by how sloppy we were around the edge of our own box towards the end there, conceding again.

As for Pickford and Walcott, I would seriously just pay up the rest of Walcott's contract and escort him from the premises, while Pickford should be dropped and replaced immediately. I just get the impression that the pair of them are lackadaisical and don't really care enough to focus and perform.

Mina and Doucoure fantastic. Davies was very good too. James being James. Iwobi did well when he came on.

Pickford needs firing out of a cannon into the sun, we can’t afford constant mistakes leading to goals.

Why bring Walcott on though? He’s got zero future here. Be pissed off if I was Gordon.

Don’t think we will.
When you look at the team that started v Spurs and the team that finished that game I think the team was just trying to get over the line. In any case they were sloppy in doing so but the net result is a superb win.
Hope so, funnily enough Spurs game is the only truly convincing win we’ve had, despite the big scores. Need the solidarity in defence for that game... namely Allan!

Thought we were sloppy in possession all game mate. Weather conditions and Brighton’s quick closing down didn’t help.
Just glad we were clinical when we needed to be. Onwards and upwards!!

Aye, missed most of it due to stream but thought we were sloppy.

Clinical though.

Mina for me, not a foot wrong today. Winning 4-2 and should be going to a midfield player or striker but still conceding to much ball at times but another good win. They're no mugs onwards and hopefully upwards.

Mina was immense there today, an absolute rock.

That was as good a performance as you'll see from a centre back that. He was a man in a mission 2nd half and he gets my vote.

Great effort (shame about how sloppy we got at the end but out that down to fatigue creeping in) as Brighton are a great passing side.

Pickford simply needs replacing let alone competition and Walcott stodd out fkr the being the only one who didn't fancy putting any effort in when he came on.
