The question therefore has to be, why the lack of intensity?

We've shown we can do it with performances away from home, yet for some reason at home we look inept at putting teams under real pressure.

Yes, we make chances, but we never look a real threat - if that makes sense. That's why the whole xG argument frustrates me, as we need to be clinical.

I want Everton to come out today with real intensity; I want the line-up to put Bournemouth under pressure from the start as teams like to sit deep against us.

The longer we do not score, the easier it is for teams. God, what I'd do for us to go in at HT 3-0 up.
The intensity comes from the manager.
We should do that at home against every single team we play including City Arsenal and Liverpool, that should be a given and then some tactical nous sprinkled with it. Dyche doesn't have that in his locker.

We might win today we might win convincingly but it wont change my mind on him one iota.

Sack him.

Rumour going around that apparently Onana has been dropped because he was late to training.

If this is true, we are not in a position to be dropping our best players for the sake of being late to a training session.

Dyche has a good spine to the team - Pickford, Braithwaite, Tarks, Onana, Garner, DCL - he just doesn't believe in it.

Track the run of McNeil from the corner for the Arsenal goal and it tells you all you need to know about the failure of Dycheball (1.41) -
