I for one, would like welcome back the American in nets.

May his lack of goal-keeping ability bring forward the sacking of our manager.

But in all seriousness, my nephew told me that he just wants to see Everton win again so for the love of god just bury this utter crap team, Everton.

To be honest, I'm just so fed up of us being hopeless at home, I'll take any kind of win tomorrow. It hurts me to say that my eleven year lad after two years of being a season ticket holder has told me that he doesn't want another one next year. Something I would have dreamt of at his age, he's been brave enough to say that he doesn't enjoy it anymore. He had built up his courage all week to tell me as he knows how proud I am that he's a Blue and how much I enjoyed taking him. Just want us to have a proper go tomorrow and not lose another generation. COYB

ive realised something today. in all my years of watching everton i think this is the first time where i don't feel any excitement or enthusiasm at anything. i think that's down to the manager. everybody has given up. there's no glimmer or hope. it just feels like a chore that we have to play someone every week now and put in another inept performance. the badge on the chests used to mean something once. now its a meaningless cesspit of despair.

all i know is that this season needs to just end as soon as possible and someone needs to press the reset button.

Catterick was once asked why the team didn't have badges on their shirts like Liverpool. He said that we didn't need badges for people to know who we were.

It would be useful not to have the badge these days. Might make the getaway easier.

Hopefully a new manager some winning sexy football and a fantastic atmosphere will entice him back. We can but dream.

I'm going with my lad. I bought him kits, took him along but we always seemed to play like toilet and lose so he followed his mates and supports Utd. At least he's not a glory hunter!

Would be nice for him to see us play ee
