True if he cant hack it at this level it would be quite disconcerting. Everything I've heard about him and even watching his U23 game indicates he should be able to excel against this competition. Whether he's ready for the premier league is a different matter.

My point is kind of that at 10m he should be ready for the PL or not signed. It is too much for a project I'd say.

I agree with that point too also not just the cost but having a starting 33 year old fb on the wane doesn't really give us the luxury to take time to develop his replacement either.
