Plenty of huffing and puffing, winning tackles, passion etc, but Jeesus, do we lack quality. We can’t pass the ball properly, and generally we are useless at receiving passes too. Really need to work on offensive drills.

I don’t think he’s terrible I just don’t see how £60m wouldn’t be great business and provide money to invest in the squad.

Just seems to have all the traits to be more effective and dominant.

All about opinions. For me his control is lacking, his vision is awful, his presence should mean he dictates games but he prefers to fall over, his passing is very average, his shooting woeful and his body language terrible. Other than that, he's a good player. Needs to be gone.

Don’t get why some think that’s us stealing a point when we absolutely had the chance to win. Have a look at the table and tell me a draw at home is enough, we need wins and these ‘we created chances though draws/losses’ are unforgivable. We will not win with Calvert Lewin starting, if it’s not Doucoure shooting, we’re not scoring

Villa fan here. Your new gaff looks stunning but I’ll miss the old school atmosphere of Goodison. We’ve only got one more match at the old place next season and then it’s over. Another one bites the dust.

Horrible match but a point is fair. You’d only be a couple points behind the Geordies without the deduction, so you’ll be fine! Best of luck for the rest of the season

Despite all of the doom and gloom, we were playing a team 3rd in the League, who are there for a good reason.

It was a battling display through the whole of the game. Didn't turn into cissies as we have done in the past. Got stuck into them and faced them up when we needed to. Good to see we weren't wimps.

Beto needs to be given a run. An average Sunday league player would have scored that one-on-one. Martinez was going down as soon as DCL shaped to shoot - should have simply dinked it over him. Pathetic, absolutely pathetic, finish!

Between now and the end of the season, I think an average of a point a game will see us safe, even with the 10 point deduction.
