Some superb tackles today and that little whinging belter Young.

Stand up Tim Cahill, and in particular Lucas Neill near the end.

Wunderbar.

Oh the **** limped off and then kicked off because he couldn't do an Usain Bolt back onto the pitch,

Oh and Warnock got some pretty shocking treatment from our corner today - nothing to do with me though,

I'll go with us breaking our losing streak.

Everton 1 - 1 Aston Villa

Nailed on.

Now, a few observations before I go pass candy out to kids (just finished watching on tape delay):

1) The announcers here in the USA were horrid. Got every opinion WRONG. For example: "Looks like Heitinga fell there wrong" when Heskey's elbow nailed him. "That wasn't a red card for me" when Billy absolutely deserved red for that. "Cuellar got a bit of the ball there, he's unlucky there" when he absolutely deserved his second yellow. Those were just a few. I almost turned the sound off they were that bad.

2) Billy's red card. Deserved. When two studs meet a player's ankle, you're gone. If that had happened to an Everton player, we'd have been screaming bloody murder.

3) Absolute howler by the referee today. No consistency whatsoever. None. Just awful and I hope he gets a few weeks in the Championship to think about it.

4) Billy looks outstanding. Finally, another player with great techinical ability. I'm excited to see what happens when he, Pienaar, and Arteta play together.

5) Villa ain't all that.

6) When we get all our players back, we're gonna be STRONG.

Back later.

Wouldn't say he was at fault for their goal, and i think the red was a bit harsh.. and i have to say i think billy might turn out brilliant for us ..specially when Pienaar and stuff are back playing!

Was happy with that performance today, ok we were lacking creativity, but we knew that would be the case before the game, it was the fighting spirit and will to win which has been lacking of late that was noticeable, probably no coincidence that we are getting players back now and the few that were on easy street for the last few games realise they have to get the finger out. Thought heitinga and Neil were good today, hopefully heitinga is settling in now after a dodgy start to his everton career. By the way was the atmosphere better today, seemed a lot louder on the stream i watched on than it has been for a while. Im over on thursday, i noticed theres **** all tickets sold for it so far.

Two studs up on a player's ankle is ALWAYS a straight red.

Whether or not a referee calls it is a different matter.

Like I said, had a Villa player done that to one of our players, I'd have expected the Villa player to be sent off.

I heard on Talksport earlier tonight that it was hardly a sending off for billy, there was no mention of the Villa send off and I haven;t seen either challenge.

o'neill has put together a side that work hard at you, and while it was not three points, with minutes left maybe I would have been satisfied with a stalemate, Young and Agbonlahor are two dangerous players and the former showed what he is capable of in the league match at Goodison last December.

still put them out of the F.A cup on route to the final so I guess I'm pleased with that, and the [Poor language removed] too, and Macclesfield, can't leave them out, it's been quite a year.

Can't believe I'm on Grand Old Team at 5 o clock in the morning. WTF.
