Villa line up extremely strong. Buendia and Coutinho in the wide areas will mean they will be looking to push on Digne and Cash. Can hopefully catch them out here and there.

Townsend will obviously be right midfield but I think this team would be more effective if he was part of a midfield 3 - as in second half at Wolves.

Maybe, but there's no evidence we play better with all three of them. It also doesn't leave much option for when one gets tired/injured. The biggest issue is that you sacrifice one of Gray, Richarlison and Townsend, who all offer much more than an extra body in the middle would.
